I've been interested in developing mobile applications since I got my first smartphone, but never really fancied buying into Apple technology. With the introduction of Android phones, especially the more recent ones which gives the iPhone a proper run for it's money, I have started developing my own Android apps, both for phones and tablets.
I am currently working on a small range of prototype apps to solve problems I encounter in my day-to-day life, such as apps to help properly record fitness programs, display marketing data using a wide range of interesting graphical and tabular representations and also fun little projects such as long-exposure camera simulators.
If you have an idea for an application, or are just wondering whether your idea is possible given the current capabilities and constraints of the Android system, I'd love to hear from you. I'd also love to take on some more Android-based work so if you need an app to help your customers connect to you using new smartphone technology I may be able to build exactly what you need.
